For a great write-up of what has improved my photography in the past 5 years, check out this post.
I have gotten a number of compliments on the pictures in my blog. I am humbled! I am not a photographer by any means, and can only credit my camera and a bit of beginner’s luck. And trial and error. I use a Nikon 1 J1, which came with two zoom lenses (10-30mm and 30-110mm) – purchased at Costco. I usually use the 10-30mm lens. I am jealous to see that Nikon now sells a J3, which looks incredibly similar, but I can only assume is an upgrade.
I have learned that pictures must be taken in natural daylight, so as you can imagine, with a full-time day job that can be a bit challenging to plan – especially in the winter! I am doing my best to work pictures in to the daylight hours. I use Adobe Lightroom 5 to edit the photos.
All of the images on my blog are taken by me, and I reserve all rights, copyright and otherwise, to those images. If you would like to use one of my images, please get in contact and we can chat about it. I promise I will get back to you as soon as possible! {My profile pictures are courtesy of Sweet Pea Portraits by Stacey; Images in the Growing Edge “round-up” posts were not taken by me.}
