Think Like a Lawyer, Blog Like a Pro

You can take the girl out of the law office (on nights and weekends), but you can’t take the lawyer out of the girl: As I have been building My Utensil Crock in earnest, my legal background has highlighted for me a host of issues related to my blogging. I searched, but could not find a comprehensive and easy-to-understand source to talk me through those concerns. So I decided to create my own!

Think Like a Lawyer, Blog Like a Pro: A practical guide to navigating copyrights, trademarks, and more on the web. (eBook cover)

Purchase Think Like a Lawyer Now!

Enter Think Like a Lawyer, Blog Like a Pro: A practical guide to copyrights, trademarks, and more on the web. Authored by Liz Vaysman, exclusively for My Utensil Crock, this 50-page eBook takes a sensible approach to issues that many bloggers have not considered, like licensing your work, branding, contracts, and much more.

I had a heavy hand in the book, providing extensive direction, editing, and (most importantly?) lots of pictures and colorful commentary to help transform otherwise dense and foreign legal terms into a useful text that is easy and fun to read. If you like reading My Utensil Crock, you will not be disappointed. Think Like a Lawyer arms you with sensible steps and necessary precautions to take in order to protect your work and to make sure you don’t infringe on others’ works.
