… I am always up to something!
Since my active breast cancer treatment ended in 2019-2020 and friends and friends-of-friends have leaned on me for support and ideas, I find myself saying the same things over and over. I am so happy to help, but there is probably a more organized way to do it. I have wanted to make a resource page or some sort of printable or best practices guide to help newly-diagnosed cancer patients and their incredibly well-meaning friends navigate among the worst of scenarios. Here are links to some prototypes:
My greeting card line celebrating federal employee and contractor workplace morale, Federalisms™, is filled with wry government humor, inside jokes, and things that are only funny because they are true. Much of the humor applies to all work places… but because I have only worked for the G, that’s what I know best! Check out Federalisms™ at federalisms.com, on facebook, instagram, and twitter. And I was so thrilled to be featured in the Washington Post in May 2020!
During the pandemic, fans demanded gift items (… for themselves) and Federalisms now has stickers, candles, mousepads, magnet poetry, mugs, and so much more.
I bought a house in September 2020, and am renovating most of it before I move in – so that, for sure, is keeping my to-do list stocked. Almost done!
Teasing something new here!
I am in love with this idea and only lacking in additional hours in the day, to take it to the next step!
